THE SUCCESS OF 2017 CONTINUES...

We’ll keep on going in 2018 – Come along with us!

THE VETERAN MARCH brings together all Swedish veterans, both civilian and military. The march takes place each year under the auspices of the Swedish Veterans Federation – Peace Berets. The Veteran march is arranged in order to commemorate all Swedish veterans, who have made a contribution for to safety and security in the world.

The march 2017 was a once again a success involving more than 1000 participants and it managed to raise more than SEK 133,000 to the Yellow Ribbon Campaign. Thus it is clear that the march will be held again in the summer of 2018. It will begin i Skellefteå but dates and routes are to be decided.

The march first took place in 2013 and was called the Peace Beret March; it was a gathering for the purpose of giving Swedish veterans the attention and recognition they deserved. The march was a tremendous success involving more than 400 participants and it managed to raise SEK 70,000 to the Yellow Ribbon Campaign.
